Acts 13:28-34

²⁸ And though they found no grounds for putting Him to death, they ^(A)asked Pilate that He be executed. ²⁹ When they had ^(B)carried out everything that was written concerning Him, ^(C)they took Him down from the ^[a](D)cross and ^(E)laid Him in a tomb. ³⁰ But God ^(F)raised Him from the dead; ³¹ and for many days ^(G)He appeared to those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, the very ones who are now ^(H)His witnesses to the people. ³² And we ^(I)preach to you the good news of ^(J)the promise made to the fathers, ³³ that God has fulfilled this promise to those of us who are the descendants by ^(K)raising Jesus, as it is also written in the second Psalm: ‘^(L)You are My Son; today I have fathered You.’ ³⁴ As for the fact that He ^(M)raised Him from the dead, never again to return to decay, He has spoken in this way: ‘^(N)I will give you the holy and faithful mercies of David.’
